Ultrasound

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is one of the most important diagnostic methods in gynaecology, due to the amount and quality of information it provides. At the same time it is a reliable, simple and safe method that can be repeated as many times as it proves necessary.

Depending on the indication, there are abdominal and vaginal ultrasound examinations.

Ultrasound examines the anatomy of the pelvic organs, and it enables diagnosis of the ovarian and uterine tumours and inflammations in the pelvis. Most of these problems if diagnosed during a regular examination, at an early stage, can be treated successfully.
